Mr Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, has stated that 2023 elections will not be about connections, tribe or religion, but about competence, character and commitment to deliver.
Obi who spoke at the Presidential debate section of the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association currently holding at Eko Hotels in Victoria Island Lagos said ““Nigeria is in a mess. We got here simply because of the accumulative effect of bad leadership. The coming election is not about tribe or religion but about character and competence. The presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is also present at the event.
The vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Kashim Shettima, is also present at the event to represent the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu.
