Ahead the 2023 general elections, the aspiration of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate for Ihiala federal constituency, Barr Johnmary Akachukwu Maduakolam last weekend received a boost as a group declared him the chosen one.
The group, Concerned Ihiala Front (CIF) through a press release signed by her coordinator, Ogbuefi Nnanyelugo Bennett said that they recently carried out a discreet opinion polls to know which of the candidates is enjoying the patronage of Ndi-Ihiala.
Ogbuefi Bennett said as a matter of fact that the United Kingdom (UK) trained lawyer, Barr Maduakolam is standing shoulder higher than others in the House of Representatives race.
He noted that the sole reason behind the non performance of most politicians in ihiala federal constituency could be traced to the majority of the constituents who do not actually understand what it means to hand over public offices to the politicians.
Ogbuefi Bennett said that in an attempt to repeat the ugly trend of having wrong persons as voices or Ihiala federal constituency, all-well-meaning Ndi-Ihiala have decided not to continue in their slumber, noting that the 2023 elections would be a radical from the past polls.
The coordinator for Concerned Ihiala Front said the people have decided to take their own destiny into their hands so as not to toil and remain largely backward in the next four years.
“That is why after thorough careful examination for a qualified candidate, found Hon.Akachukwu Maduakolam worthy to competently represent Ihiala federal constituency come 2023 at the green Chambers of the National Assembly.
“Beyond every reasonable doubt, there must be some atoms of truth. Hon. Akachukwu is philantropic, jovial, accommodating and future oriented. He has all it takes to move Ihiala federal constituency away from her recent political mess.
“We all understand the clear difference between an anointed politician and an appointed politician, Hon.Akachukwu Maduakolam (ESQ) is an anointed politician.
“We are going to disappoint those who have during the past years promised us poverty eradication but ended up not alleviating that of a common man.” He concluded
