Labour Party Chieftain Mr Valentine Ozigbo has shown his preparedness to serve the people of Anambra State if they are ready to usher in a new dawn.
He disclosed this on Tuesday, 10th of December,2024 during an interactive meeting with the coordinators of Anambra Needs Valentine Ozigbo (ANVO) at Agulu.
Ozigbo said if the people of Anambra State are ready to move away from darkness to light that he has decided to make himself a willing tool to help to rescue Anambra State.
“If Anambra State is ready to continue with impunity.Do they like the killings, the kidnapping, banditry among others?.If they prefer that, they can go ahead.”he added
He expressed that majority of the people of Anambra State understood the urgency of now and how important it was to keep Anambra State in a right track.
He revealed that he had now been to 31 cities all over the world passing the same message which they were enthused and excited about the possibility of the change they were yearning for.
Speaking on insecurity in Anambra State, Ozigbo revealed a bad leader would always give fake promises which he would not keep.He continued by saying that other States had solved their own insecurity problem why wouldn’t Anambra own be solved.
He reaffirmed that Anambra State would be a safe place under his watch. He added that insecurity problem was never a rocket science that he would put a lot in place to solve this problem.
Speaking during the meeting, the ANVO Convener,Hon Kingland Justin Ezeani described Valentine Ozigbo as a good and credible leader who has the capacity to deliver the people of Anambra State from banditry, kidnapping and other social vices.
He called him lover of the youth who according him has empowered so many of them through his foundation.
Ezeani confidentially stated that 2025 gubernatorial election would be for Valentine Ozigbo because he has proven to be worthy of the position.
