The Labour Party(LP) governorship candidate, Dr. George Moghalu has restated his commitment to youth empowerment, grassroots development, and inclusive governance.

The LP guber candidate made this assertion while playing host to Uruagu-Nnewi youths over the weekend.

The meeting, which witnessed a large turnout of enthusiastic youths, was held in an atmosphere of open dialogue and mutual respect at Obi Uruagu-Nnewi palace.

Dr. Moghalu maintained that his ambition to lead Anambra is driven not by personal interest, but by a shared desire to build a better state anchored on transparency, opportunity, and equity. He assured the youths that their welfare remains a core part of his agenda.

He highlighted the role of his foundation in equipping young people across the state with vocational training and tools to become self-reliant, adding that his commitment to youth-led initiatives is longstanding and unwavering.

The President General(PG) of Uruagu Nnewi Youths, Mr. Ejike Ifejiofor, lauded Dr. Moghalu for his consistent support and his accessibility over the years. He expressed the community’s satisfaction that a son of Nnewi is at the forefront of the governorship race.

“We are proud that Nnewi son is a frontline candidate in this election,” Mr. Ifejiofor said. “You have always stood by us, and today, we are standing with you 100 percent. This is our own,” the youths said.

The event ended on a high note, with the youths pledging their unflinching support for Moghalu’s vision and leadership, expressing renewed hope for a united and progressive Anambra.
