The various choir groups, including the orchestra group from St Paul Junior Seminary, serenaded the selected groups invited for the carol service.

The Carol was so refreshing to the souls that one literally forgot all about their problems.

The carol tradition the select group of choristers performed had been around for 100 years.

The program handbook indicated that “the first service of this kind was sung in Truro, England in 1880. The first Bishop of Truro, Edward White Benson, became Archbishop of Canterbury in 1883 and was responsible for introducing it into parish churches throughout England.”

The performers did not disappoint the audience, who applauded each rendition enthusiastically.

The benefactor of the Louis Carter Foundation, Chief Louis Onwugbenu, ensured that every guest was made comfortable throughout the evening.

A host of Reverend Fathers were part and guests at the concert. The Obi Uruagu, Obi Afam Obi, and his cabinet member were in attendance. Chief Goddy Adamu Anaeto, Sir Dennis Ofodeme, Chief Arthur Ngwube, the DA NAUTH, Mrs. Offor.

Others were chief Pen Nwosu, Chief Innocent Okoli (Organizer), Chief Enuma (Enutraco), Chief Obinna Amachukwu (Obinaco), the CEO of RBK, Sir Joe White Onyejepu, Hector Osondu (Publisher of Vintage), and President, Nnewi Sports Club, etc.
