Anambra state has witnessed a hike in criminal activities. Recently, it has degenerated to assassinations of people apparently minding their businesses.
Anambra state traffic warder at Ekwuluobia with several other victims at Umuchu, and Oba in Idemili South LGA.
The other casualty of the macabre incident happened right in front of Roban Stores in Nnewi.
The so-called unknown ‘gunmen’ have been accused of perpetrating the said vicious attacks.
These attacks have instilled renewed fear in the general population, just as people have begun contemplating breaking the jinx of the Monday stay-at-home.
It is doubtful that a vigorous police investigation will take place knowing the state of policing in the state.
