By Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo (PhD)

The funeral of the great matriarch, Martina Chukwuma, is slated to begin on February 25th, 2022. The late Madam Martina Chukwuma’s famous sons, Chief D.r Innocent Chukwuma, CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Ltd (IVM,) and Chief Gab Chukwuma, CEO of Gabros International Group, have such a high reach across a broad spectrum of society.

A great number of people encompassing many professions had begun paying homages to the brothers.

Prof Kingsley Muoghalu (Ifekaego Nnewi), the presidential aspirant, was accompanied by Prof Obi Nwosu and Elder John Orafu to pay Chief Innocent Chukwuma condolence for the loss of his mother.

Muoghalu prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Mrs. Martina Chukwuma. He noted that the matriarch lived a remarkable life, and the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren enjoyed her as much as she enjoyed them.

After the visit, the press asked him questions on the country’s state of affairs. Muoghalu said that the Central Bank has defined responsibilities and not to engage in endless funding of the various government programs, which have fed the upward inflationary trend.

Muoghalu argued that the reason crime has become controllable is that the police are afraid and understand, including the military.

He promised to increase the number of men and women in the military and police by one million people. “I am going to introduce to meritocracy.” Anyone heading any security position in my administration must have been found to be skilled and competent.

He advised IPOB that the sit-home policy has had an opposite effect of what they hoped to achieve. It has a devastating impact on the economy of the Southeast.

UBA Plc also paid condolences to the Chief

Executive Officer (CEO) of IVM. The Deputy Managing Director at UBA Group, Oliver Alawuba, led a solid team to Chief Innocent Chukwuma to offer their condolences to one of their most robust customers, who has been with them for over forty years.

They urged him and all the Chukwuma family members to bear the loss since it was the wish of God that she had finished her assignment.

Alawuba said that Innoson, though a customer, is considered a family member for his forthrightness in the way he relates to the UBA family.

Several great personalities came around, while many had sent their cows ahead of the penultimate day.

As of 4 pm, they have recorded over 150 cows. They have arranged for multiple pen facilities, and it was just February 22, 22.
