Realizing the fact that politics is a vocation which should not be confused with a profession or career path, stakeholders in Ihiala federal constituency have rejected career politicians and rooted for a United Kingdom trained legal luminary, Barr Johnmary Akachukwu Maduakolam to represent the constituency in the green chamber of the National Assembly come 2023.
A stakeholder, Comr. Okpanum Calistus noted that political participation all over the world is a means to contribute to the growth and development of societies and not necessarily for self glorification.
He pointed out the the legal luminary, Barr Maduakolam went into politics as successful professional with a track record of achievements.
“Barr Maduakolam’s involvement in politics is because he can do a good job and his value and ideology will best suit the constituency he serves. Sadly, most politicians having no history of a successful career before politics take it as a do or die affair. The legal luminary has continued to approach politics differently with his innate desire to serve and reach out to many people and he has at uncountable times, used proceed of his hardwork to positively impact lives.
“Taking politics away, some politicians will have nothing to fallback on, so to stay relevant, they build a political haven for themselves ensuring a retirement benefit through mindless looting.”he noted.
Another stakeholder,
Chief Francis Chikezie (Ugodinobi) said as a matter of fact that Nwadiuto as the legal luminary and the House of Representatives hopeful is proudly called by his followers has a different approach to politics and that Barr Maduakolam sees politics from a vocational point of view.
“Over the years, he has made himself a statesman through his empowerment activities to the generality of the people of Ihiala federal constituency, the green chamber of the National Assembly is in dire need of a personality like Barr Maduakolam who is certain would give his constituents a quality voice, responsible and responsive representation in the House of Reps.” He declared.
Chief Chikezie said emphatically and with all sense of responsibility that the legal luminary will not disappoint Ndi-Ihiala after trusting him with their mandate.
