A frontline All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) aspirant for Anambra Central Senatorial Seat, Uzuegbuna Okagbue has picked the expression of interest and nomination forms at the headquarters of the party in Abuja.
The Director Media and Spokesman, Uzu Campaign, Ebuka Onyekwelu revealed this in a press release.
The 44 years old Uzu according to the press release served as the Chief of protocol and deputy chief of staff to former Anambra Governor Willie Obiano is an astute senior banker of about a decade before joining Anambra State government where he served as both the Chief of protocol and deputy chief of staff for eight years.
“Uzu by all standards, is a complete representation of what the next generation of public service must look like. Public service must be pioneered by competent professionals who have shown capability and with credible results that points to their will power and dedication to work schedule, while meeting desired expectations. Uzu Okagbue is the youngest in the race and by far, the choice of the youths, not just because he is young, but because he is a competent youth.
“With today’s event, Uzuegbuna Okagbue is clearly established as an aspirant of APGA, awaiting the primary election which we believe he is the choice of APGA and will emerge the candidate of APGA for Anambra Central Senatorial election, because APGA wants to win the election and not just merely participate.
“We thank our teeming supporters for being part of the journey so far. The coming days will be much more engaging as Uzu transverse the nook and cranny of Anambra Central, in a mass movement for political regeneration.” The statement concluded.
