Heavily armed gunmen attacked Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s convoy: About six people lost their lives

The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial zone, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah and his entourage were brutally attacked on Sunday, by the unknown gunmen at Nkwo Enugwu-ukwu in Anambra Central Senatorial zone.

The attack managed to take place despite the fact that the government of Governor Charles Soludo has invested heavily to ensure that sanity prevails in the state when it comes to security. The state has been commended by the people positively in that regard.

The attack apparently took the senator and his entourage by surprise. The Senator managed to escape unhurt with several members of his team. However, our source who was also traveling with the Senator told Vision Newspapers, “unfortunately, about six of his aids and policemen died from the assault.”
