Chisom Alex, son of Anthonia and late Bonny Chukwuonye married Chimuanya, daughter of Ngozi and Patrick Onwuama

The handsome Engr. Chisom Alex Chukwuonye performed the traditional marriage rights to his heartthrob, Chimuanya Onwuama, a dynamic anchor to the Directors of GMart Super Market. The ceremony was held on March 2nd, 2024 at Onwuama’s compound in Egbu-Umuenem Otolo Nnewi.

Engr. Chisom is of the Nwakanwa kindred of Okpuno Otolo, Nnewi. He is the son of the late Bonny, a former employee of Adswitch Plc, and a popular member of Nnewi Sports Club before his demise. Anthonia, Engr. Chisom’s mother’s bloodline ran through Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi and the Nsoedo family of the great Dalahize kindred of Egbu-Umuenem Otolo Nnewi.

Engr. Chisom Alex, despite his rich pedigree, and physical attributes as a movie star, is rather very reserved and humble,- a testament to the parents’ home training. Engr. Chisom is everything a professional, who is currently employed in the Nigerian oil sector.

Chimuanya is the daughter of Patrick and Ngozi Onwuama of Ezenwajiaku kindred of Egbu-Umuenem, Otolo Nnewi. The couple is known for being upright members of the community. They did a great job with the way they raised their children. It is not a surprise that most members of the community may not know she lives in Nnewi because of her commitment to duty. She is a young lady blessed with a good measure of wisdom, in addition to the management training she received from the Managing Director of GMart, Ifeanyi Uzodike, and Deputy MD, Nneka Uzodike.

The marriage of Chisom and Chimuanya is fitting because of the natural attraction they have for each other. When you observe them, it is easy to note the sparks that emanate from their gaze. When this type of union becomes obvious, it is usually said that it is a union of two hearts matched in heaven.

The traditional marriage ceremony which included the second and third ceremonies as Nnewi customs required was performed without a hitch. The couple after the traditional ceremony danced to the admiration of the guests.

Hon Ugo Uzodike who also mentors the young bride and groom was very much attentive to the event to ensure a smooth sailing affairs. The nwanduzo (middle man) for the groom to Ezenwajiaku kindred was Hon Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo (PhD). Anthony Udemezuo, the uncle to Anthonia Chukwuonye was present with the family. Mrs Bene Okonkwo was present throughout the occasion with the Deputy MD of GMart. Ifeanyi Chukwuonye, uncle to Chisom was around and participated in the ceremony.

Chief Betrand Obunike, the Obi of Ezenwajiaku kindred led the family with the of the kindred Chibuzo Onwuama. Some of the personalities from Ezenwajiaku were Engr James Onwuama, Hon Mrs Nneka Obunike, Mr. and Mrs. Okey Amaka, Hon Paul and Mr Ben Anuligo.
