The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation, Mr Nicholas Echezona Nsoedo(Omepuruchukwu Anaedo) has once again bagged an Award of Honour.
This time, the recognition and award came from the Faculty of Arts Students Association (FASA) of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) Igbariam.
The award ceremony took place at CIHOCOTEL CLASSIQUE, Awka on June 28th during the award night of the arts students.
The occasion was set aside to celebrate creativity, excellence and achievement in the arts industry and also an avenue to honour individuals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen endeavors.
In his speech at the occasion, the President of the 2023/2024 FASA, Comrade Matthew Abah Onoja said that Omepuruchukwu Anaedo was singled out for recognition and award for his outstanding and immense contribution and invaluable support towards the growth of FASA.
He said that Mr Nsoedo has created a name for himself when it comes to philanthropy and empowerment of the less privileged persons in the society irrespective of tribe, religion or creed.
“This gentleman from Nnewi has been on our radar for a very long time, he is always doing things for people who cannot repay or return his good gestures, this rare kind of personality should and must be recognized and celebrated.
“We are celebrating him today not just to encourage him because he has made up his mind to continue to alleviate the sufferings of the masses but to encourage the affluent persons in the society to borrow a leaf from Omepuruchukwu Anaedo,” he said.
Mr Nsoedo (Omepuruchukwu Anaedo) in his brief comment at the occasion thanked the students for recognizing the little efforts he is making to wipe tears away from the faces of the less privileged through his Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation.
He pointed out his greatest high is when people especially the less privileged persons are happy because of his intervention in their lives.
“In Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation, we don’t discriminate against any would be beneficiary base on tribe, religion and such considerations because humanity is our religion.
“We have been in this even when I was outside the country and we continue to intensify what we are doing to help humanity because situation at hand at the moment has made it imperative to give a helping hand to the needy in the society.
“On my part, it’s commitment I have made and as long as I live, there is neither looking back nor going back, because I am happy when others are happy because of the interventions of Omepuruchukwu Charity Foundation,” Mr Nsoedo asserted.
The award night featured music, dance, pageantry and so on.
Recall that Omepuruchukwu Anaedo not long ago bagged similar award from Anambra people living in Enugu State.
