Finally,Family of 6,who died in Nnewi of suspected food poisoning buried at Hometown

A family of six who died on 29th of July, 2024 at Abubor Nnewichi, Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area,Anambra State after suspected food poison have been buried.

The victims,Mr and Mrs Okwuchukwu Onyimmadu and their four children from Mbosi in Ihiala Local Government Area ,resident in Nnewichi ate the food that killed five members of the family at a go leaving Mr Okwuchukwu who battled for his life at Nnewi Teaching Hospital, later reportedly died.

It was gathered, Mr Okwuchukwu had four children: two boys and two girls with his wife’s sister’s two children who ate the food with them.

His two children that escaped the ugly incident were not living with them.

Ven. E.T.C Ifediora who spoke on topic;”The last day on earth” called on Christians all over the world to be prepared at all times,adding that ” death is inevitable”

He read Ecclesiastes 9:10-18 that said”Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do ,do it with thy might ,for there is no work ,nor device ,nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave, whither thou goest”

He encouraged Christians to strike to have good relationship with God and man.
Ven Ifediora advised people present to prepare to meet their God.

“Amend your ways ,live a holy life nobody knows the time because our lives remain in
God’s hands”

“If they knew that the food would be their last meal they wouldn’t believe it ” he added

Two other corpses were taken to their parents house at Enugu.
