APC Woman leader defects to APGA with over 1500 people in Anambra

Over one thousand, five hundred members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Obosi community, Idemili North LGA of Anambra State have defected to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

The new defectors were received into APGA at the residence of the State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, who also hosted other members and stakeholders of the Party in Idemili North LGA.

The former APC Woman Leader in Obosi, Mrs. Uju Ikebuaku while speaking at the occasion said that they were tired of darkness which she said informed their decision to defect to not

She noted that they had been in darkness for long, until recently when their eyes got opened and they began to see the good works of the Gov Charles Soludo in Anambra State.

Mrs Ikebuaku pointed out that it was primarily the evidence-based good governance they see in the Soludo Administration that endeared them to APGA and hence decided to join in building the state.

The Anambra State Commisioner for Works, Engr Okoma while speaking at the occasion described the influx of people into APGA as one of the evidences of the good works and the unique governance style of the “Solution Government” in the state.

He used the occasion to highlight the achievements of the administration of the APGA government in Anambra State which according to him cover all the sectors.

The occasion was also used to drum support for APPA candidates in the September 28 local government elections.
