The convener/designer of Nnewi Museum Commission, Arch. Ikechukwu Mbelu has described the founder of Cutix PLC, Engr Obiajulu Gilbert Uzodike OON, as a progressive-minded fellow who gave his best to humanity.
Speaking during the funeral ceremony of Engr Uzodike in Nnewi over the weekend, the Nnewi-born successful architect who is the CEO / principal partner of ICON Conglomerate said the late Nnewi born successful industrialist and entrepreneur was one of the influential figures that gave Nnewi global recognition with the establishment of CUTIX Plc. It is a company known for quality and class in the global domain when it comes to the electrical world.
Explaining further, Arch Mbelu enumerated some sterling qualities of Chief Uzodike and said the title of Oziuzo Nnewi was really befitting for no other person than him. In his words, “Oziuzo’s honesty, industriousness, progressive mindedness, unassuming nature, calm dispositions, versatility, etc. “In fact, anyone who has him as a friend has it all. “In all honesty, the chieftaincy title of OZIUZO NNEWI (Pathfinder of Nnewi) is most befitting for him.”
Reflecting on the indispensable roles he played for Nnewi, Arch Mbelu submitted that beyond all the innovations to Nigeria economy, mentorship of club associations, moral and financial support to organisation, he
stated that Engr. Obiajulu Gilbert Uzodike OON died a very accomplished man.
Mbelu submitted that Engr Obiajulu Gilbert Uzodike was the chairman, Board of Trustees of NUSA (Nnewi USA). He was a major part of all their conventions from inception until the time he took ill that led to his death. He attended all their conventions.
Going down memory lane on their relationship as brothers and associates, Arch Mbelu said he would miss his smart, intelligent, wise, and valuable roles.
