Anyaoku, Eze Obosi, AMfB felicitate with Udemba on His 2024 Iwaji Festival

Igwe Chidubem Iweka, Eze Iweka III of Obosi, The Emeka Anyaoku Foundation owned by former Common Wealth Secretary General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Adike Microfinance Bank AMfB, Former Anambra State Chapter Chairman Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Dr Emma Kanayo Monago (Igweoba Obosi), Gyration Master/Celebrity Hon. Anthony Monago (Tony One week) Chikwado Age grade Obosi were at Obosi community, Idemili North LGA, Anambra State as the owner of Prime Solar Energy, Chief Engr. Hyman Udemba (Akamposi Obosi) celebrated his 2024 Iwaji/Obiora festival for his Kindred, Umuezechieamalu Family.

Speaking at Ugamuma village, Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka Eze Iweka III of Obosi who spoke through the Palace Administrative Secretary, Nze Okenwa Shedrack Igwebuike Ugoeju described Yam as the king of crops which is respected throughout the whole Igbo land and worth celebrating.

“We respect Yam in Obosi community. After the Igwe’s celebration of Iwaji/ Obiora festival as a member of Ndichie Obosi, Chief Hyman Udemba Akamposi Obosi called on his Kindred, village and friends to celebrate with them. God will give him long life to become an Ogbueshi/Octogenarian and wisdom to assist Eze Obosi as he rules Obosi community in his reign of peace and progress,” he said.

The celebrator, Chief Hyman Udemba Akamposi Obosi said that the importance of the Iwaji/ new yam celebration was to thank the goddess of land for making the land yield crops.”The Chief priest to the goddess of land, Ezeani Obosi prays for Obosi land to yield harvest during the Ushiejioku traditional festival for planting season held after the first rains in March, after six months, the crops are harvested and we can celebrate the fruitfulness once again”.

Moreover, Director, Emeka Anyaoku Foundation, Mrs Oluchi Nguzoro Nnoli unbehalf of her principal, Chief Emeka Anyaoku wished Chief Udemba good health, sound mind and body saying that he would live long to celebrate iwaji festival in many more years to come.

“Chief Udemba Akamposi Obosi is one of the Emeka Anyaoku Foundation big support system. He has always been there for us anytime we call on him. He is a brother to our Principal and a great support system. We wish him everything beautiful and hope that he would always be surrounded by people he loves and those who love him”.

According to Chief Linus Mgbakaogu (Atta Obosi), Akamposi is one of us as Ndichie Obosi and is celebrating Obiora today in his own domain. You can see his daughters, married women group, Nze na Ozo group, Ndi Ogbueshi and many people here enjoying what we can call offala and thanking God for bountiful harvest.

Also, the Chikwado Age grade Obosi led by the President, Nze Jerome Uju Uyienu (Ugochukwu tubelu Ugonabo) being the age mates of Chief Udemba were on ground to celebrate with him eulogizing Chief Udemba as a great philanthropist who has given employment to many youths and trained a lot of persons.

Moreso, the Managing Director Adike Microfinance Bank (AMfB), Mr. Emeka Anujeonye with other members of management and staff was also present to felicitate with Chief Hyman Udemba Akamposi Obosi who happens to be the Board Credit Committee Chairman, AMfB
Obosi as he celebrated his 2024 Iwaji/ Obiora festival wishing him the very best.

Meanwhile, the Adike Microfinance Bank AMfB which was formally known as Obosi Microfinance Bank during the Iwaji celebration assured Obosi residents that the bank was resuming banking activities on December 10, 2024 with more interesting benefits and packages that would assist petty traders, Small and Medium Enterprises.
