One of the few Mega Churches in Anambra State, the Rhema Deliverance Mission Akabuokwu Uruagu, Nnewi, on Sunday the 1st of December 2024 held her annual Thanksgiving Service amidst pomp and funfare.
It was very well organized and packaged, with the members showing their passionate and unconditional love for their lead pastor, Prophet (Barr.) Ejike Nwachukwu. It was such a monumental event that even attracted the attention of the Pentecostal Friends Organization to come over and celebrate their annual Thanksgiving in the church. The member, Bro. Izuchukwu Enendu,who invited the organization, described Prophet (Barr.)Ejike Nwachukwu as a rare man of God whose words do not fall to the ground. He said he considers it a great privilege to be under his pastoral care. He asked God to increase the Prophet on every side and allow his Light to continue to shine and shine unto the perfect day. The Set Man of the Church, Prophet (Barr.) Ejike Nwachukwu, while speaking on the Power Of Praises and Thanksgiving, underscored the importance of Praises in the life of any Believer. In his words: “The Bible says sing unto the Lord for it is a pleasant thing to do so. In the morning, sing praises to Him. In the evening, sing praises to Him. In the night, praise him. The Bible says it is a good, pleasant, and comely thing to praise him. “The Prophet admonished the congregation that instead of singing or listening to secular music, they should learn to praise God. He asked if there is any reward in secular music, to which the congregation replied in the negative, but according to him, “”when you praise God, it gives you peace of mind and bring joy to your spirit. It also brings the atmosphere of favour and grace into your life. Praises gives you the ability to access the throne of God. Praise is an invitation that God can never resist. Anytime you praise God, you lift Him to do the unexpected. You lift him to do what you can not do for yourself. When you lift praises unto Him, He comforts your brokenheart. He binds the wounds of your life. And he brings healing to your soul .”‘” Continuing the stated:. ” Even if you are angry and you sing, you won’t know when joy will overflow.you. And the atmosphere of favour takes over, strange miracles. Uncommon favour begin to happen to you.””. It was a superlative Thanksgiving Service that saw all the major departments come out to appreciate God for His goodness and for His mercy.
