The members of Umuezechukwu kindred in Obiagu, Uruagu-Nnewi, Anambra State, will on Monday, the 30th of December 2024, at 3:00pm, assemble at the Obi Umuezechukwu palace (Archbishop Court), to celebrate their 3rd year Anniversary.
Disclosing this on Sunday was the Obi of Umuezechukwu, Chief Archbishop Prof. Emma David Okafoagu. Throwing more light on the celebration, the Obi said: “It is the Lord’s doing which is always marvelous in our eyes. The Obi of Obiagu, Chief Emmanuel Muorah crowned us as the Obi of Umuezechukwu, bringing up the clans that make up Obiagu from four to five. The celebration of that particular D-DAY comes up on the 30th of this month.”
On the significance of the title, he explained: “The significance of that position is what only God can explain. Just like Eli who was not from the Priesthood of Isreal, but God brought him to be a Priest and a Prophet. We have been working for the progress of the community, working for the progress of Obiagu, for the progress of Uruagu, for the progress of Nnewi and the liberation of the whole world. God has used us to heal, deliver and cast out demons.
We have been in the forefront of showing people the right path to follow to the Kingdom of God and for them to obtain their inheritance. I believe that at this age, this is part of the crown of God upon us.”
On what to expect on that day, he answered: “We are expecting our wives, our in-laws, our children and grandchildren, relations and friends to come and pay homage and receive the Fatherly Blessings from us.”
On his message to Nigerians, he advised that Nigerians should be faithful to God, stressing that it is only by Faith that Nigerians would survive and not by Government. That they should not be moved by what they see and the struggle they go through on a daily basis concerning what to eat or drink.
Also speaking on the forthcoming Cross-Over Night of his Church which comes up on the 31st of this month, termed: “JUBILEE NIGHT”, he said: “This time around, it is a night where God will set people free and restore what they have lost. It is a night where God will crown many people the same way He has crowned me physically and spiritually. It is a night where God will separate people from darkness to light. It is a night where God will spread his blessings and prosperity to His people in a conscious and mega way.
The program will start at 8:00 pm and end in the morning of January 1st, 2025. As they step into the new year, fresh opportunities for higher designations will open up. God will choose men for higher responsibilities in different fields of human endeavours. In Jesus name amen.”
