House of Representatives member, Dr. Paschal Agbodike has advocated for enactment of legislation promoting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in West African state.

Agbodike made the call in a chat with newsmen from the plenary session of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) held in Monrovia, Liberia.
The federal lawmaker who is Nigeria’s representative in ECOWAS, urged ECOWAS members to strengthen their love and unity by patronizing local products to improve their economy.

“There’s need for the community to legislate on how to grow Small and Medium Enterprises in West African state which is responsible for the employment of 80% workforce of every nation,” he noted.
Meanwhile, the lawmaker has felicitated with Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his conferment with the title of “Oluatuegwu” by the Anambra North traditional rulers.
Agbodike, representing Ihiala Federal Constituency commended the monarchs for the honour accorded to the Governor, describing it as reflection of his impressive performance in all sectors of the economy.
