George Moghalu, promises to bring prosperity to Nnewi and Anambra people. He made the promise while addressing the Nzukora Nnewi, the umbrella body of the town’s union.

Moghalu received a rousing acclamation from the people after listening to the impeccable credentials of George Moghalu both across the party and professional positions, with recent assignment as the Managing Director of National Inland Water ways Authority (NIWA).



The Labour party candidate said, “that it will be uncharitable for him to say that Governor Soludo isn’t working, but a lot could be done to better the lot of our people,” says Moghalu.

“My government will provide jobs for the youth. When you provide job opportunities for young people, kidnapping and other crimes will become a thing of the past.”




Moghalu chided the governor for being a huge failure on security and protection of lives. The failure in this critical area has not bode well for investors to explore the potentials available in the state.
The Labour candidate promises to restructure the security architecture to become efficient and effective. This will certainly be instrumental to business activities in Nnewi.
The candidate informed the people that he is working in partnership with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour party. He warned the people that his successful election should help move Peter Obi to succeed in 2027 presidential election.
Meanwhile, Moghalu promised the people of Nnewi that he is coming back with Peter Obi in no distance time to address them.
