Nnewi-born Industrialist, Chief Louis Onwugbenu (Okpata Ozuora Nnewi) has once again put smiles on the faces of millions of children through his foundation, Louis Carter Foundation.
The annual event, which took place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Louis Carter’s house in Ndi Ojukwu Uruagu Nnewi, marked the 12th anniversary of the foundation.
Chief Sir Louis Izuchukwu Onwugbenu is known for his philanthropic strides for ages and has used his foundation to empower so many families and train indegent children from primary education to university level.
The coordinator of the foundation, Engr. Emmanuel Ofia while addressing the beneficiaries expressed his gratitude to God and their benefactor who according to him has been there for them.
“Today, we have doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers , politicians, engineers, architects, and many more, all thanks to our benefactor, Sir Louis Izuchukwu Onwugbenu.
He urged the beneficiaries to be committed and focused in their studies, assuring them that their benefactor would not relent in seeing them achieve greatness in life.
The beneficiaries went home happily with bags of rice and substantial amount of money.
