The family of Late Chief L.N.E. Nsoedo (Ide Nnewi) and Lady Angelina Oliaku Nsoedo held one year Memorial service for late Lady Angelina Oliaku Nsoedo and her daughter late Ms Cecilia Nsoedo.
The family had decided to honor their memories in a meaningful way by using the day of renewal (Jan 1, 2026) to reflect on what their lives meant to the family.
Cecilia Nsoedo, who was the second daughter of late Lady Angelina Nsoedo, was killed by a callous bike rider barely two months after the death of the Nsoedo matriarch. Cecilia devoted her life to the family, particularly the late Lady Angelina Oliaku Nsoedo.
The children of Lady Angelina Nsoedo, the grandchildren, the great grand children, cousins, and some of the inlaws, joined in the holy mass at St Felix Catholic Church, Egbu-Umuenem, Otolo Nnewi.
The officiating priest, Rev Fr Peter Uzochukwu, among many issues he spoke on, charged the congregation to make a purposeful decision to be in unison with Christ. It is the only guarantee to achieving everlasting life with God.
The Rev Fr held a special prayer session with the family at the compound her son, Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo. The entire family were satisfied with the opportunity of reflecting on the lives and times of late Lady Angelina Nsoedo, a strong but gentle matriarch, who held the virtues of late Chief L.N.E Nsoedo firmly until her death.
