Umuada Umuota village Obosi have pledged to support their townsman, Dr Kene Igboebisi, an aspirant for Federal House of Representative Idemili North and South Constituency to ensure he wins the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA party primaries.
The Umuada Umuota unanimously endorsed Dr. Kene Igboebisi in his bid to represent Idemili North and South at the Federal House of Representatives.
They commended his commitment to better the lives of the youths and women through his empowerment programs which has been ongoing over a decade now saying that his scholarship programs helped many youths who could have taken to crime to become useful to themselves and the society.
The woman popularly addressed as ‘Abadagu’ sang his praises saying that they were not in doubt that Dr Kene Igboebisi will bring effective and people-oriented representation to the constituency.
An APGA stalwart and one of the Ndiichie Obosi who hosted the women, Chief Omezie Chukwurah, Oshaa Obosi urged the women to return to their respective wards and ensure they register for the APGA membership card. He emphasized that the membership card would empower them with the right to participate in the party primaries and support his aspiration.
Dr. Kene Igboebisi assured the women that if elected, he would attract meaningful projects and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Idemili North and South. He particularly highlighted his commitment to empowering women through opportunities, support programs, and inclusive policies that will improve their welfare and strengthen their role in community development.
