Speaking during the occasion, Sen. Nwachukwu attributed his victory to God, the giver of life, Mr. Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State whom he described as a man of vision, courage and results and to his party members that gave him their mandate.

“July 21st 2025, APGA gave me the mandate to represent the good people of Anambra South Senatorial District and in August 16 2025, we came out victorious in the Senatorial Bye Election.

“I was then sworn in six months ago to represent you at the National Assembly. You chose hope over doubt, conviction over confusion and integrity over uncertainty.

“But as we all know, that victory was tested. From the ballot to the tribunal, from the tribunal to the Appeal Court, the journey was not smooth. It was a road filled with storms, moments of tension and tests of faith.

“You stood firm, you did not retreat, you did not lose hope and you did not abandon the mandate you freely gave. And today, history records that the will of the people cannot be overturned. Justice spoke, truth prevailed and your mandate was reaffirmed again and again. To the Judiciary, we say thank you for standing on the side of justice” he stated.

Sen. Nwachukwu outlined his achievements so far as: drawing national attention to the deplorable condition of critical federal roads that connect their communities and drive their economy, particularly the Onitsha-Owerri Road axis and the Okija spur- Ihembosi – Ukpor – Ebenator- Ezinifite Road corridor including the collapsed bridges along that route which has severely disrupted movement and economic activities across their communities, engaging power sector with urgency and purpose, working closely with the Federal Ministry of Power, EEDC and other critical stakeholders across Anambra South, drawing the attention of the Federal Government to the devastating erosion challenges affecting communities across Anambra South with bid to facilitate necessary intervention processes, and supporting the electronic transmission of real-time election results, a landmark position aimed at ensuring transparency, credibility and the protection of the people’s mandate.

He said they would continue to work hand in hand with the state Government under the impactful leadership of Governor Soludo to achieve excellence together. Nwachukwu vowed to remain connected to them because according to him representation without the people is empty.

He urged the people to give him the opportunity to continue the representation that would yield impactful progress.

“I will stand for you, I will work for you, I will speak for you and I will not fail you ” Sen. Nwachukwu promised.
