Following the dissolution of the Ofordeme -led Board of Trustees BOT of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, the new members appointed from the four quarters of Nnewi were sworn in by Chief Lotanna Okoli SAN during the monthly meeting of the town’s union.
The President General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Prince Jude Osumuo, urged the new members of BOT to work for the interest of Nnewi, and also, urged the new members to work closely with his Executive.
Barrister Nnamdi Chima responded on behalf of the new BOT members. He thanked the Nnewi for giving the BOT members the opportunity to serve them. He informed the meeting that the loyalty of BOT members are to Nnewi people, and not to any one man.
The new members of BOT are:

- Hon Ezeakukwu Emma Nsoedo (Ph.D)
- Barrister Nnamdi Chima
- Professor Izuchukwu Igbokwe
- Echezona Etiaba SAN
- Chief Augustine Njideofo
- Professor Obi Nwosu
- Professor Melie Onyejepu
Audience with HRH Igwe Orizu III
Following the Inauguration of the new BOT, HRH Igwe Dr KON Orizu III, received the members in his palace. He blessed them to have a fruitful tenure, while urging them to roll up their sleeves and get into action.
The Crown Prince, Dr Obi Orizu urged the new BOT of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi to ensure that any lingering issues should be addressed with a view to give everyone a sense of belonging.
The BOT assured HRH Igwe Nnewi that the members are ready to serve the community to the best of their abilities.
