Barely 5 months after Chybee Foundation For Women and Youths Empowerment organized a program where over 50 Women and Youths received Grants of #100,000 each, another massive program has taken place. The latest took place on the 3rd of October 2026 at the NUJ Secretariat Multipurpose Hall Miriam Babangida Road Asaba Delta State. Over 60 women and youths benefitted from the Grant disbursement. The Event which attracted over 1,000 Participant’s also saw trainings in Skills Acquisitions, Vocational Training and Mentorship Sessions. It was indeed a full package and the Beneficiaries were very happy and full of thanks.
In a brief Chat with the Founder, Amb. Lady Chinyere Chukwudi Zimako, she expressed her happiness stating that , she is indeed very happy and grateful with the outcome of the event. According to her, immediately after they finished the one of May this year, they started preparation for this. In her words:”” I am so thrilled with the results. It is indeed a huge success.””. Asked what she derives from these empowerment programs, she answered:”” It has been my lifelong desire to be of help to the vulnerable and less privileged members of the society, especially the women and the youths. I have been doing this right from my youthful age. Whenever I see people suffering, I get troubled. Giving fish to people is good, but teaching them how to fish is better and have greater and better impact. This Is why we do embark on Skills Acquisitions programs and Vocational Training so that they can be well equipped with skills and knowledge to make money and take good care of their families. I derive a lot of pleasure and satisfaction when I see that what I’m doing is positively affecting society. I don’t intend to slow down, instead, I’m working hard to make sure upcoming events will be better and more impactful.”” Also speaking, one of the Special Guests Of Honour,Dr. Austin Ifeanyi Epunam JP Atu Nnewi who is equally the President and Founder of Sweethome Africa Humanitarian Foundation commended Amb. Lady Chinyere Zimako for her firm commitment towards alleviating the suffering of women and youths. He stated that Lady Chinyere is a woman with a Golden Heart who is ready to spend her hard earned resources just to make sure she removes tears from the eyes of people. She described her as an Angel in human form and prayed that God will continue to guide and protect her.
