In a resounding demonstration of synergy between community stakeholders and local governance, a delegation from the Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC) Area Command Nnewi, led by Chairman Hon. Amobi Okonkwo (Anunuebe/OkwuekwuluṅụọiyiAnaedo), paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Echezona Anazodo, Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government and Chief Security Officer of the locale, at the Nnewi North Local Government Secretariat.

He appealed to the Mayor to furnish the Area Command Nnewi with a vehicle, akin to support he extended to other divisions in nnewi, to facilitate operational duties, noting the loss of their patrol vehicle to arson during the EndSARS inferno. Additionally, he announced PCRC’s offer to volunteer in traffic management during the yuletide season, ensuring unimpeded mobility on major thoroughfares.
Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Ubah, Women Coordinator of PCRC, commended the Mayor’s commendable tenure and exhorted him to sustain his dedication to ndi Nnewi’s welfare. She reaffirmed the group’s resolve to collaborate with the local government toward a secure and peaceful town.
