Rev Fr Stanislaus Mbamara of Nnewi catholic diocese who was kidnapped two days ago has regained freedom.
This cheering news was contained in a press statement signed by the Chancellor of the diocese, Rev Fr Raphael Ezeogu.
“With joy the Nnewi diocese is announcing that today June 4, 2023, Rev Fr Stanislaus Mbamara kidnapped two days ago has been liberated.
“We sincerely thank all of you who joined us in prayers for God’s intervention, please join us in happily acknowledging God’s compassion once again palpably manifested. Glory be to the Father and to the So and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end.” The statement reads.
Recall that the priest who is also a student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka was abducted on his way back from school two days ago.
