Ada Fredrick Salutes Nigerian Women on Mother’s Day

Another day, that our dear mothers across the globe are celebrated in excitement and accomplishment of the good deeds of our mothers, and displaying that point of excellence, while shouldering the task of the nation.

But, in Nigeria that candour and brightness on the faces of our mothers are almost fading due to what we have been battling with in the country.

We have been grappling with a whole lot of inadequacies especially as it relates to the hunger, killings, uncontrollable massacre, kidnappings, and untold hardship. These are what we face on regular basis in Nigeria due to poorly managed actors who only show strength in misgovernance as seen in the past few years under APC.

The ugly encroaching trend has made this day which ought to be a day of joy, excitement, and added sparkle of radiance on our garment, has turned into a day of intense sober reflections.

The mothers are mostly affected in the country by the taste and tale of these whole ungovernable tides that is sweeping over our motherland.

While we reflect on the leadership as it mistreats the mothers of today, we should also look up and reflect on the ways for the best, and redirect our strength to nation building as we play our part in fixing this country.

We shall remain resolute and firm as we strive towards building a better nation.

I use this medium to celebrate all hardworking mothers today and hope this will be a rejuvenated vigor for us all to carry on and stay afloat in making sure we reposition Nigeria.

Happy mothering day!!!
