The National President, Umunwechi Development Union ,Amichi in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State has been honoured with a prestigious meritorious award on the occasion of the Department of Physiology 3rd Induction Ceremony held at the college Auditorium, NAU, Nnewi Campus.
The Department of Human Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences in Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Nnewi Campus honoured Amb. Ezike on Wednesday, 11th of June, 2025 because of his outstanding contribution, exemplary leadership qualities and unwavering dedication to excellence.
His service to the institution and humanity remained immeasurable which has earned him so many leadership positions and awards.
Ezike, who contested 2024 Local Government Election under Young Progressive Party(YPP) has recorded enormous achievements and has continued to inspire the people of Amichi and beyond.
In response to the award, Amb. Ezike Emmanuel Alex said he felt excited for the honour of excellence adding that ” It is always good to be appreciated alive”.
He disclosed that he was given the award of leadership Excellence for the gesture to show the world what he has done which he never noticed.
He promised the institution that he would not fail from that which they saw in him.
Ezike promised to continue to support the institution and humanity, adding that ” they are here to serve not to be served “.
