Chief Sir Cyprain Onyemamuo (Nwajiugo Nnewi) at Anaedo Social Club headquarters, was made a Patron of the club.
It is a huge milestone for one to be made a Patron of the club. It takes not only having made a considerable financial commitment to the club over time but requires extra devotion to the continued development of the club.
Chief Sir Onyemamuo had shown leadership beyond the club. He is a community leader who has been recognized by HRH Igwe Orizu III. He is equally a Knight of St John in the Catholic Church.
The Club’s President, Chief Sir Chukwuka (Ikenga) said that Chief Sir Onyemamuo was actually supposed to have received his Patronship in December 2023, but for a clerical mistake. “That is why this special session was slated for the ceremony,” the President said.
Friends and relatives of Chief Sir Onyemamuo supported the ceremony with donations. Chief Pen Nwosu gave the sum of fifty thousand naira, and Hon Dr. Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo gave the sum of thirty thousand naira.
