A stalwart of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Hon. Akachukwu Nwachukwu says people defecting to All Progressives Congress(APC) are merely looking for opportunity to satisfy their hunger and thirst for greener pastures.
Hon. Nwachukwu stated this during an interaction with journalist in Nnewi.
He said that people who are weak to straighten their base will always run to the so called center which has not really helped anyone for empowerment. “Even if the house is weak it should be strengthened. Nothing should attract anyone to APC with the level of insecurity, infliction ravaging the country under the watch of APC. APGA remains the most structurally organized political party in South East. A party seen as a family where you can convey your views and your voice will be heard.
“In every twelve there must be a Judas, APGA is rooted in justice and equity but those individuals running to other political parties are self seeking opportunists, there is functional structure in APGA to solve all manner of problems but the defectors are just looking for where their bread can be immediately buttered , a little challenge in a family does not depict weakness but ability for such family to know where the problem started and learning how to end it is paramount.” The APGA youthful prodigy explained.
He said as a matter of fact that the APGA candidate in the November 6th governorship election, Prof. Charles Soludo remains the best material to take Anambra State to the promised land.
“During Prof. Charles Soludo’s tenure as the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigeria witnessed economic stability, he discouraged a lot of wastages and stabilized the banking sector, that is the kind of individual who should be trusted with the mandate of taking Anambra State to the next level.
“Someone who is not economically, socially, physically sound should not aspire to govern our state, everybody can not become the governor, there are other things other candidates vying for governorship can do apart from being the governor, for the November 6 election, Prof. Charles Soludo is the best bet.” He said
