It was another glorious outing for the Wind of Glory train of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and his running mate, Iyom Sen. Uche Ekwunife took their campaign train to Idemili North and South LGA .
At Idemili North LGA , Uzoeghelu General Motor Park (Nkwo Ogidi Square) venue of the thank you rally was filled to capacity as people trooped out in their good numbers to demonstrate their support for Ikukuoma and Iyom Ekwunife.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon Charles Obadike said emphatically that Idemili North Local Government Area is known for big deals.
He said as a matter of fact Idemili North is a major determinant of who comes out victorious at all elections.
Hon Obadike said with relish that with the mammoth crowd that trooped out to identify with the Wind of Glory train, then Ikukuoma should be rest assured of victory.
“We are goal getters in Idemili, I assure you that Ikukuoma and Iyom Ekwunife will get nothing less than 95 percent of the total votes here,” he stressed.
An APC Woman Leader in the council area, Hon Mrs Maria Ejero said that the women of idemili North LGA will work very hard to delivers all their polling unit to APC come November 8, 2025.
Sir Ben Igbokwubiri, the former President General (PG) of the commercial town of Obosi pointed out the combination of Prince Ukachukwu and Iyom Ekwunife is a masterpiece.
He pointed out that some people erroneously believed that APC is exclusive political party of the Northerners noting that the entrance of the APC standard bearer Ikukuoma in the November 8 guber and his running mate has corrected such ungrounded thinking.
Sir Igbokwubiri said that with the combination of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Iyom Uche Ekwunife, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) should better start packing their luggage from Government House.
“APC have a powerful candidate and an equally strong running mate, forming a formidable squad that will lead Anambra State to greater heights and prosperity.'” he said.
Situation was not different at Idemili South LGA of the State as the Community Primary School field, Ojoto – Uno venue for the rally was jam-packed with party faithful and others who believe in Prince Ukachukwu and Iyom Ekwunife.
Hon Tony Uche on his speech at Ojoto-Uno said that Anambra State is in dire need of a real politician who has the capacity to deliver democratic dividends to the people.
He said that the APC standard bearer is coming to wipe tears off the face of Ndi-Anambra who have not find things easy in the last three years of APGA government.
At the LGAs, Sen (Iyom) Uche Ekwunaife in her speech thanked the people of Idemili South for coming out in their large numbers to receive the Wind of Glory train.
Similarly, the APC Governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu in his speech expressed his determination to give Anambra State a five star governance which has largely been lacking since the incumbent governor came on board.
He said emphatically that as Governor of Anambra State, he would not employ the service of Aka Odo boys to torture the people, noting that there are better ways to collect tax from the people without crippling then.
Ikukuoma assured farmers small scale manufacturers of his unflinching support so as to enhance their productivity.
