The governorship aspiration of the APC standard bearer, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu yesterday got a boost as Ikemba Front showed strength on his behalf.
Ikemba Front had on Friday held an expanded meeting of the Ward, LGA, Zonal and State Executive Council which held the capacity at the group’s Headquarters in Awka.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon Arinzechukwu Awogu recalled how certain impostors tried to dislocate the group at a time, but added that some persons who got deceived have started returning to fold of the group.
He said with relish that the APC standard bearer, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu has
the capacity to succeed where incumbent Prof Charles Soludo has failed.
Hon Awogu said that it is horrible that Gov Soludo has abandoned seven local government areas to criminal elements who are wasting people at will.
“Soludo has failed to provide security for seven local government areas in Anambra State. Many prominent personalities, men, women and youths have been lost to insecurity. Ikukuoma has developed a blueprint that will change the narrative in less than three months of his administration.
“We will vote for APC for genuine change, we will vote for APC because of the intimidating personality and record of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu who would give the state a responsible and responsive governance.
Awogu noted that Ikemba Front is the Flagship support group for APC which has massive representation in the 326 wards of Anambra State.
He expressed the preparedness of the group to do massive campaigns.for Ikukuoma before the election and ready to defend the votes cast for the APC standard bearer on the election day.
Hon Awogu paid a glowing tribute to Sen Ifeanyi Ubah, the deceased senator who represented Anambra South senatorial zone .
He said Ikemba Front with build a befitting cenotaph in honour of Distinguished Sen Ubah with the assistance of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu as a governor of Anambra State.
