Anambra 2025: Sen Ubah pledges good governance

The senator representing Anambra South senatorial district and a frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in the 2025 guber polls, Sen Ifeanyi Ubah has once again pledged good governance to Ndi-Anambra.

Sen Ubah who made the pledge in his June 12 speech reiterated his commitment to providing good governance and his vision for transforming the state if elected as governor in the upcoming 2025 election.

He expressed his preparedness to leverage on Anambra’s rich intellectual and entrepreneurial resources to attract external investments, aiming to run the state as a “mini nation inside a nation” with a strong focus on developing local economies and reducing reliance on federal allocations.

Sen Ubah’s eeconomic blueprint includes: promoting Anambra’s comparative advantages in commerce, technology, education, health, and sports to foster economic growth and industrialization.

He also pledged to utilize technology to combat insecurity, creating a data-driven governance model that emphasizes transparency and accountability as well as decentralization and grassroots development.

Sen Ubah promised to conduct local government elections within four months in office as Anambra State governor, to decentralize power and boost grassroots development.

He expressed his believe in a governance approach that involves close engagement with stakeholders and empowering local governments to drive development autonomously.
