The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Old Mercedes Spare Parts Market Nkpor, in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State, Chief Martin Ezeokeke has made bold to say that the second term of the incumbent governor, Prof Charles Soludo is not negotiable considering what Soludo has achieved in three years.

The market leader added that Gov Soludo is expected to run for second term in the 2025 governorship election.
Chief Ezeokeke stated that Soludo has fulfilled his campaign promises in road construction, education, health care and now security and by so doing repositioning Anambra to progress and unprecedented higher level.

He added that the governor has brought everything needed by the state to advance to greater heights in his landmark road infrastructure, education, health care and security among things.
“Soludo has brought the issue of good roads to bear and that is one of the major things we need to advance to greater height. I am from Ekwulobia and I can tell you that what Soludo has done in Ekwulobia will take Ekwulobia to greater height. Like Ekwulobia there is road construction everywhere and we are seeing the kind of good road network we never expected within three years of Soludo’s administration.
“What I am saying is that Soludo should be allowed to go for another four years and complete the eight year tenure for Anambra South Senatorial District because he is doing wonderfully well. You can agree with me that the security initiative tagged Udo Ga – Achi is already working and hopefully it will yield lasting solution to the issue of security, so Soludo’s second is not negotiable ” he maintained.
On account of his six months Caretaker administration, he said the Caretaker Committee has ensured a peaceful atmosphere of business with a cordial relationship between the traders and the government adding that the presence of government has been brought to bear in the market like never before by ensuring that all government requirements on revenue, amenities and security are fulfilled by the traders.
He added “We came on board as Caretaker Committee appointed by the State government to oversee the affairs of the market and I can assure you we are not doing badly in fulfilling government demands. We have functional amenities like water and solar light, ensured that peace and good security measures are priority to the market and government is giving us good attention. The Special Adviser to the governor on Markets Hon Evarist Ubah is always behind us with listening ears to respond to our needs and we are grateful for their positive response.
