Soludo Unity and Human Development Advocacy (SUHDA) on Thursday drummed support for the reelection of Gov Charles Soludo.
The group during a press conference in Awka told aspiring governorship aspirants in the Anambra 2025 guber polls to drop their dreams as there is no vacancy in Government House, Awka until the incumbent complete his 8 years term.
The Director General (DG) of the group, Prince Victor Udeh-Ubaka during a world press conference which held at King David Hotels in honor and support of Gov Soludo 2025 reelection, said that the need to make the declaration has become imperative because the so called aspirations of certain politicians is not only distractive to the incumbent but also diversionary.
Prince Ubaka-Udeh pointed out that Gov Soludo in just two years in office has outperformed all his predecessors.
“Gov Soludo by all known standards has proved to be an exceptional leader with immense capacity and capability as he is unarguably the best governor in Nigeria today who has done so much for his people yet has not borrowed a dime..
“Most of Prof Charles Soludo’s predecessors did not employ any staff into the civil service or teaching service commission because of the fear of increasing wage bills but the incumbent in a dramatic and symbolic change of direction has boost the teaching and civil service with massive employment.
“In just two years, he has employed over 8000 teachers so that children of Anambra can enjoy quality and qualitative education, for us at SUHDA, that huge investment cannot go unnoticed, not forgetting the fact that he has declared free education in all government controlled schools from Primary 1 to JSS 3.
“The health sector has also experience some revolution under Gov Soludo’s administration, over 1000 health workers have been employed, he has declared free antenatal and post natal for all pregnant women in the state indigenes and residents.
“What do one say about road construction and rehabilitation, he has recently constructed roads that make it possible for vehicles to run from Obaofemili-Amansea-Ufuma, the new development has totally positively transformed the economy of benefitting communities as business is booming for the indigenes and investors.
“The pipe borne water scheme abandoned many years ago are now working, he has indeed touched Ndi-Anambra in many positive ways and the only thing we can do as a group is to Kickstart his reelection campaign,” Prince Ubaka-Udeh pointed out.
He said that the personalities involved in SUHDA are carefully drawn from all the 21 LGAs of the State who have surveyed the political firmament of Anambra State and have taken a stand that there is no need changing a winning team as such, passionately committed to the project of ensuring that the incumbent complete his 8 years term.
Prince Ubaka-Udeh said as a matter of fact SUHDA working in consonance with progressives persons in the state will sit idle and allow over ambitious politicians rock the boat of progress of Anambra State.
