The Presidential General/Leader of Association of Non-Indigenes Welfare In Anambra State (ANISA/ANIAS), Chief Amb. Great Ikechukwu Ugwuoke has warned members of the association to avoid vote buying and political thuggery in the November 8 Polls.
Chief Amb. Ugwuoke who commended the Non-indigenes in Anambra State for being law abiding said that their good nature should be reflected in their disposition on the day of the governorship election.
“Shun vote selling, vote selling is bandage, your future lies in voting rightly, so don’t sell your future to the highest political bidder.
“I impore non-indigenes to also shun political thuggery, violence and or any act that can disrupt the peace of Anambra State.
“Let us vote with conscience and protect our dignity, your vote is your future hope, use it wisely,” he asserted.
Chief Amb. Ugwuoke had in an earlier statement said that his members would be available to vote in all the five thousand, seven hundred and twenty polling units in Anambra State on November 8.
