Anambra Guber: John Nwosu has not stepped down for Moghalu, Campaign DG declares

Chief Ben Chuks Nwosu, the Director General (DG) of John Chuma Nwosu Campaign Organisation has dispelled the rumour making rounds that Labour Party governorship hopeful has withdrawn from the November 8, Anambra State governorship election.

Chief Ben Chuks Nwosu said that the scurrilous rumour making the rounds that John C. Nwosu, the leading Labour Party aspirant has stepped down for Chief George Moghalu, another LP aspirant is not true noting that the rumour is a lie of enormous proportion.

John Chuma Nwosu campaign DG said as a matter of fact that his principal is set for the 5 April, 2025 party primaries.

“The Labour Party delegates will decide who will be the party candidate. Party nomination cannot be won through lies, subterfuge and mischievous fake news.
We urge party faithfuls to disregard such distractive misinformation,” he said.

Meanwhile, John Nwosu literarily shut down Labour Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja as he officially submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to the National Secretariat Office.

The leading LP governorship aspirant was ccompanied by passionate party members and energetic youths to the National Secretariat of the party.

Hon. Oseloka H. Obaze, Chairman of the John Chuma Nwosu’s Campaign Organization expressed the team’s confidence in their aspirant, emphasizing the collective decision to back the best aspirant for the job.

Addressing the gathering, John Chuma Nwosu expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his dedication to the party’s success in Anambra.

“Today marks a significant milestone in my life, my family’s journey, and the future of Anambra State under the Labour Party. We have gathered to celebrate and officially submit our expression of interest and nomination forms. I deeply appreciate the tireless efforts of the National Working Committee in ensuring a smooth and transparent process.

“Our party successfully conducted a peaceful congress in Anambra state without legal disputes, and I pray that the upcoming primaries reflect the same orderliness. As of today, we have 21 active Labour Party offices across the state, a testament to our grassroots strength.

“I assure you that if given the mandate as the party’s candidate, we will secure an overwhelming victory for the Labour Party in Anambra. Thank you all for your dedication, and may God bless our great party,” he said.

The Labour Party’s National Chairman, Barr. Julius Abure, while speaking at the occasion commended Nwosu for his commitment and reassured all aspirants of a transparent nomination process.
