Ahead the November 8 guber polls, Anambra Patriots For Soludo (APS) on Tuesday practically declared ‘No vacancy’ in Light House as the group endorsed the incumbent Governor, Prof Charles Soludo for second term.
The endorsement rally took place at International Convention Center (ICC) Awka.
Officials, members and friends of APS actually trooped out in their good numbers to be part of epoch making event.
In his speech, the Convener of APS, Arch. Okey Ezeobi said that the group decided to carry out the endorsement rally because of their firm believe that reward for hard work is more work.
He pointed out that Gov Soludo has outperformed all his predecessors in just three years in office.
Arch Ezeobi identified unprecedented infrastructural development, human empowerment and social intervention programs of Gov Soludo as hallmarks of his administration.
The Anambra State Chairman of APS, Chief Damian Ejiamatu in a comment expressed the readiness of the group to go th whole hog to ensure massive victory for Gov Soludo on November 8.
He described Gov Soludo as a visionary leader who has positively transformed Anambra State.
Also speaking, Chief Ben Obi(Igwe APGA) said emphatically that APS is not looking for anything from Gov Soludo noting that the endorsement is aimed at appreciating quality governance.
“Soludo outperformed Peter Obi and Obiano. No room for charlatans who has no certificate. I appeal to all and sundry to vote for Soludo on November 8 . Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu and other sages will not forgive me if I partner with learners against the incumbent who is doing wonderfully well,” he said.
In his speech, Gov Soludo said he was humbled by the outpouring of sentiments expressed by the spokespersons for APS.
He thanked the group for always blazing the trail whenever issues that concern Anambra is raised, noting that the endorsement rally speaks volumes about the officials and members of the group.
