Anambra Guber: Ukpor community standsstill for APC governorship candidate, Prince Ukachukwu

The sleepy town of Ukpor in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State literarily stood still for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu on Sunday as he took his thank you tour to his own council area.

The venue for program was Central School field, Ukpor, which played host to a very massive crowd of people who trooped in from all the communities in Nnewi South LGA.

Speaking at the occasion, the the APC chairman for Nnewi South LGA, Hon. Chidi Orjika said it is a very big honour for the council area to produce the APC governorship candidate.

Hon Orjika noted that the APC candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu popularly called Ikukuoma is an household name who has positively impacted on a whole lot of people in Anambra State and beyond.

He.appealed to entire people of Nnewi South LGA to go all out and work tirelessly to ensure the actualization of the governorship aspiration of Ikukuoma noting that a victory for the APC guber candidate is a victory for Nnewi South LGA.

In her speech, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu’s running mate, Iyom Sen Uche Ekwunife tasked all and sundry in the council area to see Ikukuoma’s aspiration as their own.

She extolled the leadership qualities that makes the APC governorship candidate stand out amongst the rest noting that the November 8, governorship election presents a unique opportunity for Ndi-Anambra to get it right.

Iyom Ekwunife described the APC standard bearer as a very intelligent, bright and wonderful personality who has the capacity to Anambra State a five star governance which according to her is grossly lacking at the moment.

She highlighted what she called the obvious failure of the incumbent governor, Prof Charles Soludo noting that she and her principal are coming to correct all the anomalies.

The APC senatorial candidate in the Anambra South bye election, Chief Emeka Okwuosa in his own contribution said with relish the positive change Ikukuoma will occasion in Anambra State immediately after his victory in the November 8 governorship election.

He described Prince Ukachukwu as a passionate and committed personality who is interested in the welfare of all and sundry noting that under Ikukuoma’s watch, security would improve across the State.

The APC governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu expressed his determination to turn things around for the better in Anambra State.

He said as a matter of fact that insecurity would become a thing of the past under his watch and using touts to collect government would not be part of his administration.

“If you vote us in, all the unemployed graduates in this local government and others in the state shall be provided with jobs. We only came to thank and assure you that we will make Anambra great again.Go to your wards and intensify your campaigns and may the wind of glory blow on you.

“Look at our roads, all dilapidated, look at the insecurity every where, yet there is a government. It is time to exit APGA because they did nothing for us. Let us take our destiny in our hands. We shall empower the youth and the women and provide for the elderly in a more secure Anambra of our dream,” he asserted.
