Anambra South Senatorial Bye-election: Madukaejika drums support for APC candidate, Dr Okwuosa

From Ifeoma Ejiofor
Ahead the August 16th Anambra South senatorial bye-election, Chief Chukwunonye Onyejuluwa, (Madukaejika) has drummed support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Sir(Dr) Azuka Okwuosa.

Chief Onyejuluwa while addressing the mammoth crowd that gathered in his palatial residence said that the election is meant to replace Sen Ifeanyi Ubah at the 10th Senate noting that it is only normal for someone from Nnewi to step into the big show left behind by the belated Senator.

He said as a matter of fact that the APC standard bearer is from Nnewi and that Nnewi people have resolved to vote massively for Dr Okwuosa.

Madukaejika noted that the APC candidate has all it takes to give Anambra South senatorial a responsible and responsive representative at red chamber of the National Assembly.

“Sir Dr Azuka Okwuosa is experienced, learned, capable and amiable, he was a former council chairman and a former Anambra State Commissioner, he has contested for both the Senate and governorship before. It is his Divine time to get it right now,” he said.

He appealed to the other six local government areas in Anambra South senatorial zone to collaborate and support Ndi-Nnewi to crown Sir Okwuosa to be the replacement for Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Ubah who is an Nnewi man.

“The truth of the matter is that other people coming out from other local government areas are aware that it is Nnewi’s slot that is stake on August 16th, morality demands that, a person from Nnewi zone should be the replacement for Sen Ubah,” he asserted.

Over three hundred people gathered at the residence of Madukaejika for the pathfinding and interactive meeting.
