Anambra State Government has assured its readiness to partner corporate bodies to improve the tourism sector and make it more lucrative.
The Commissioner for Indigenous Art Works and Diaspora Affairs, Dr Christian Madubuko gave the assurance while receiving in audience, members of a Non Governmental Organization, the African Heritage and Tourism Movement in his Awka office.
Dr Madubuko explained that tourism industry is very lucrative abroad and the Ministry under his watch would improve and bring more recognition.
He assured the group, that he would personally take them round different sites in the state.
The leader of the group, Mr. Onochie Aghadi their visit was aimed at helping the state to promote tourism and make it more lucrative.
Mr. Aghadi confirmed that Anambra State is blessed with natural tourist sites, which need to be projected to the world to attract
visitors and investors.
