Bar. Peter Ekwueme commences intensive medical outreach in Anambra South

The founder of Peter Ekwueme Development Foundation (PEDEF), Bar Peter Ekwueme has has organized medical outreach in Anambra South Senatorial district aimed at providing essential medical services to approximately 5,000 patients, including blood sugar test,blood pressure test, HIV screening, and surgeries, among others.

This laudable initiative is to underscore the importance of access quality healthcare, particularly in rural communities and also to highlight the critical need for increased access to healthcare services, particularly the less privileged .

The outreach is being conducted across selected six Local Government Areas in Anambra South Senatorial district which started today 3rd December, 2024 at St Andrew Anglican Church, DCC Nkwo Triangle in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Speaking, Bar Ekwueme said by providing this essential services was not only to improve the health and wellbeing of the beneficiaries but also to contribute to the overall development of the community.

He noted that his selfless dedication to the welfare of others was a shinning example of the positive impact that individuals would have when they commit to making a difference.

Ekwueme said his humanitarian efforts are clear indication to his exceptional leadership and commitment to the wellbeing of others.

He added that his vision for healthier Anambra South remained inspiring adding that his tireless efforts to make this vision a reality would inspire others to follow his footsteps.
