Anambra Patriots For Soludo,(APS) has opened a new ultra modern secretariat situated in Anambra Trade Center along Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard,Awka, Anambra State.
The Convener of APS and Managing Director(MD) of Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement, Chief Okey Ezeobi noted that APS is the only support group that has Secretariat, and still blazing the trail, out of the one hundred and sixty five support groups that supported Gov Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election.
Chief Ezeobi stated that apart from opening APS new Secretariat, their group also decided to get together under the roof of their magnificent building complex to chart a new path in the political history of Anambra State and South East in general.
He stated that their main aim is not to collect money from Gov Soludo and other politicians,but are more concerned about good governance, accountability and transparency in the government activities, noting that despite trust deficit among politicians in Nigeria, Gov Soludo has given Anambra State a solid base for growth and development of the State.
Arc Ezeobi promised to mobilize all the votes in Anambra State to massively return President Tinubu in his office due to his excellent and great works in the southeast in the areas of infrastructural amenities.
He however vowed that APS will carry out.massive voter education and mobilization in every nook and cranny of Anambra State to avoid APGA losing to candidates of other political parties in the National and State Assembly elections.
Also speaking, the Chairman of APS, Ozo Ejiamatu Damian Enekwechi noted that the group is the leading support group that is still standing while many others have closed shop.
He wished Gov Soludo well in his second tenure and urged him to give Ndi Anambra more infrastructural amenities in his second tenure, just like he did in his first tenure.
Ozo Ejiamatu Enekwechi said as a matter of fact that emphatically stated that APS is in support of gender equality in politics, which according to him made the group to appoint good number of women as ward coordinators.
In his own speech, the Special Adviser to Gov Charles Soludo on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu who is also a leading senatorial aspirant for Anambra North, commended APS officials and members utmost confidence in the leadership qualities of Gov Soludo for their firm believe in Gov Soludo, which he noted, made them purchased APGA Governorship nomination Form for his reelection.
Dr Obiogbolu used the occasion to.formally. announce his intention to contest for Anambra North Senatorial seat in the 2027 National Assembly elections.
He also appealed for support of the group for his senatorial ambition even as he briefly highlighted his package for the people of Anambra North Senatorial zone.
His Royal Highness, Igwe Ben Izuchukwu Emeka(Oke Ebo Umueri) and other eminent personalities from far and near graced the occasion.
