The Transition Committee(TC) chairman of Nnewi North LGA, Engr Chris Obiorah has donated over one thousand exercise books to the Holy Trinity Nursery and primary school, Uruagu Nnewi in support of teaching and learning.
The TC chairman made the presentation during the school’s second graduation ceremony.
In his speech, Engr Obiorah encouraged the pupils to always be dedicated to their studies so as to become outstanding children noting that focus and determination can take anyone to greater heights.
Engr Obiorah appreciated the school management for the good job they are doing and encouraged them to always give the children the best education, morals and discipline.
The TC chairman who said as a matter of fact that quality education is key to the development of the society, promised to always support and promote learning in Nnewi North LGA.
He appreciated Gov Chukwuma Soludo for setting the pace with the free education policy and his education support fund to churches which according to him will continue to yield positive results for a better society.
