Donald Trump won because he is a born-again Christian, says Arch Bishop (Prof) Emmadavid Okafoagu JP2

From Don Peter Okoro

The Man of God who successfully predicted the electoral victory of Donald Trump some months ago, Archbishop Prof Emmadavid Okafoagu JP2, has revealed that the reason he won the election is as a result of his being a Born Again Christian. He made this clear during an exclusive interview with Don Peter Okoro yesterday in his office.

The ArchBishop who is the Apostle of New Covenant of God Mission and Presiding Archbishop of Masterseed College Of Bishops and Ministers Network USA and Nigeria said, when asked about his sentiments for the American President Elect: “My sentiment is not only based on his being a Christian, but the fact that he is bold as a Christian. I remember one American President ( I don’t want to mention his name) who made an Independence Day speech and from the beginning to the end of that speech, he did not mention Jesus or God. And Americans were outraged. They told him that they believe in the God of Isreal, that is why their Motto is “In God We Trust.”

They told him that God must be first. But watch Trump, he never miss any opportunity to profess Jesus Christ. I can tell you categorically that Donald Trump is a Servant of God. Trump is a Born Again Christian. The Bible says that with the heart man believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Trump has confessed openly the Lordship of Jesus, so he is saved. If he was not saved before, now he is saved. He is publicly, globally and megally saved.

On his reaction when it was announced that Trump had won the election, he replied: “My immediate reaction was to thank God, because right from the beginning, God had told me that he would put in Trump again as the President of America to check-mate so many things. And because I believe wholly in God, I didn’t say he will be President again, I said he must be President”.

“It is my joy that it has come to pass. Though, in that write-up, I received so many criticisms , but I continued in my prayers with my church members for him to win. So let God who gave him this victory also give him the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to shoulder this great responsibility.” As one who visits America regularly and has his institutions registered in that country, how does he think Trump’s victory would advance his interest? He replied: “When I put up that prediction, people were saying that I should remember that the man is fighting against immigrants and so on. So I told them that they should take Nnewi for instance, we can’t just allow anyone into the town and expect to sleep with our two eyes closed. We must check who is coming in and going out. I believe that is what Trump is trying to checkmate.

“Trump did not say people should not come to America, there must be global movement. He is trying to tackle security issues. Imagine one minority man saying the other day that Islam will take over the world without firing a bullet. Is that not what is happening now? Foreigners are taking over everywhere.

“It is time to checkmate how people come in and go out of our space. People like us do not have problems getting into America, because I don’t go there to sell drugs, I go there to rest, preach the gospel and come back to Nigeria. People like me cannot leave Nigeria, Nigeria is my home.”

On the allegation that Trump is fond of insulting black people, he responded: “No, if you have been to America, Japan, China and some other countries like I have done, you will see that it’s the black people that are always insulting themselves. They indulge in so many unbelievable things.

“I can remember the case of people in Japan who gave people goods to sell in Nigeria After collecting the goods they will now print posters and billboards that they are dead and buried and send such messages to their business partners abroad. When it became so rampant, it was still the people here that went over there to tell them that these people are not dead, that they did those posters in order to swallow their money. So, it’s the character of some black people that is betraying them.”

When reminded that Trump has been asked to be President for all, the Bishop assured: “Trump will be President for all. If you are somebody that want God to reign in your life, you must also be someone that respect yourself, but whereas you are doing otherwise, you should expect calamity. Trump will be President for all. But everyone should respect him or herself.”
