The executives of Abia state Indigenes forum (AIF) the Umbrella body of all citizens of Abia State residing in Anambra State last Monday paid a courtesy visit to the police area commander for Onitsha ACP Chidiebere Nzota to Felicitate with him as well as interact with him on success recorded so far in crime reduction in Onitsha area.
Speaking during the visit, Comrade Damian Ogudike the president of the Forum and the Leader of the delegation told the area commander that the Abia State citizens body were in his office to Felicitate with him on the good job the police under his command is doing in Onitsha Area as result of his efficient leadership noting that since he took over the leadership of the force in Onitsha that crime rate has reduced drastically for peace and tranquility to take over the commercial city.
Continuing, he told the area commander that the leadership of the forum were in his office to indentify and felicitate with him and also invite him to be a member of the forum since he hailed from Obingwa LGA of Abia State which qualifies him to be a member adding that the aim and aspiration of the forum is to foster brotherly love, unity, protection of members rights, political enlightments and education etc.
Said he to the area commander, “our dear brother, we are proud of you and will like to invite you to join us to make Abia State proud in Anambra State, we are proud on the type of quality leadership you have given. Onitsha area police command which has reduced all manners of criminalities in the area making everywhere to be peaceful now”
Replying, ACP Chidiebere Nzota while noting that he was full of joy for having his brothers in his office to Felicitate with him as well as commends his job in Onitsha, tasked every member of the forum not to relent on being each other keepers stressing that there is nothing more than love of each other.
He admonished them on the need for all of them to always remember to be patriotic to Abia State as well as to Anambra State the State they are residing by avoiding anything that will deter the progress of the State but rather pursue and promote things that will develop Abia State.
Said the area commander, “Brothers let us support our Governor Dr. Alex Otti, who is doing well, let us help him to succeed more, I believe he is God sent for the State. So wherever we are let us work to ensure he succeeds further”.
Adding his voice, Prince Obiagu Omenukoaku one of the key patrons of the forum, showered encomiums on the area commander saying that from what he observed and discovered from private investigation he conducted about the area commander that the area commander is a well-bred, intelligent officer who is a professional police officer to the core.
