Hon. Harris Uche Okonkwo, the Federal Legislator representing the people of Idemili North and South in the Federal house of representative, has been commended for his untiring efforts to attract development projects to the people of his constituency, noting that these efforts are hall mark of a good representative.
Making this assertion while speaking when Hon. Harris Uche Okonkwo handed over to Nkpor Agu Community a well furnished six Classrooms block which he attracted under sustainable project unit of the federal government recently, Eng. Sir Emmanuel Idemili, the Chairman of Amafor Nkpor community, praised the legislator for remembering his people who he said sent him to the House of Representatives to attract good things for them.
Noting that politics has to be solely for service and not Partisan, he praised Hon. Uche Okonkwo for despite been in different political party Labour party still remembered to attract projects in a community where the domineering party is APGA adding that for this singular action that it demonstrated that his priority is how he will serve the people and improve their welfare.
Speaking also, High Chief Emmanuel Udeze, Onowu Nkpor, Chief Raphael Obi, Osuofia Nkpor, Chief Justine Uzoegwu, Agbogidi Nkpor, all noted that the Legislator had demonstrated that he is a legislator that loves his people, who wants to attract good development projects that will developed his constituency. He said that he is giving them good representation and will not relent.
Replying, Hon Okonkwo expressed joy on their support, and said he was motivated to embark on the project based on his passion to give the children and youths of the constituency quality and affordable education.
Said he, “I assure you of quality representation. I have plan for more attraction of development dividends that will go around to various communities under my constituency.” Let me assure you that I won’t relent to bring good things that will enhance development in my constituency. All am telling you is to keep on supporting me. I want the people of my constituency to smile.
