Anambra State Governor Prof Charles Soludo felicitated his immediate predecessor, Chief Willie Obiano, and Dr. Chris Ngige, who clock 67 and 70 years, respectively, on Monday.
Gov Soludo, in his message, commended Chief Obiano for his passionate service to the state and her good people.
He said that attaining the age of Sixty-seven years is a milestone achievement deserving of celebration; haven served and became an accomplished politician, banker, and technocrat within these years.
Gov Soludo noted that generations of Ndi Anambra and Nigerians as well will look back in history to appreciate the exemplary leadership of his immediate predecessor and his contributions in the area of infrastructural development and community service.
Similarly, Gov Soludo, in a birthday message, congratulated Dr. Ngige, describing him as an accomplished politician, an erstwhile governor of Anambra State, Senator, and now Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He said, as a matter of fact, that Dr. Ngige’s achievements as an illustrious son of Anambra State are commendable.
The congratulatory messages to the former Anambra State governors was signed by Mr Christian Aburime, the Press Secretary to Gov Soludo.
